Pfizer’s Covid-19 Pill Failed Study Testing Its Preventive Use

The Covid-19 tablet from Pfizer Inc. failed to stop symptomatic infections in adults who had been uncovered to the pandemic virus, a late-stage research discovered.

Pfizer mentioned Friday that the drug, named Paxlovid, failed the research’s principal goal of meaningfully lowering the chance of confirmed and symptomatic Covid-19 infections in adults who have been uncovered to the virus by somebody of their family.
