Greensboro dad and mom maintain prayer rally in opposition to after-school Satan membership

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Dozens of individuals gathered in Greensboro on Friday to carry a prayer rally towards a controversial after-school Satan membership.

Folks dwelling alongside Normandy Street didn’t need the rally so near their properties. One home-owner parked her van on the sidewalk to dam the group.

Greensboro police had officers stationed at Joyner Elementary Faculty to verify issues stayed beneath management.

“Kind of a rallying thing to say ‘we here in Greensboro does not want this in our schools,’” stated Tempe Moore, organizer of the prayer rally.

The membership was slated to begin on Friday at Joyner Elementary Faculty. Guilford County Faculties’ chief of workers says the membership is beneath assessment.

“We never start a club where we don’t have the followers and supporters to put one in place,” Greaves stated.

“This is an issue that’s not going to go away, and there’s other clubs already established at other states, so hopefully this will encourage churches there to take a stand,” Moore stated.

There are 4 after-school Satan golf equipment throughout the nation, together with ones in Illinois and Ohio.

An elementary college in Pennsylvania lately denied the membership, making a lawsuit.

Guilford County Faculties desires dad and mom to know they don’t seem to be related to any after-school program.
