Greensboro 2022 Municipal General Election results



Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan was reelected Tuesday, according to unofficial results from the North Carolina State Board of Elections.Results will be certified by the state Board of Elections to make them official. Vaughan beat Justin Outling by 425 votes, according to data from NC SBE. “I’m very relieved. It was a tight race. I was pleased to prevail. And I want to thank the voters of Greensboro for their continued trust,” said Vaughan.Outling’s team tells WXII they will wait for all absentee and military votes to come in and if the difference between the ballot counts for both candidates is within 1%, they will ask for a recount.
