Celine Showcases Beachwear Line With Pop-up at Le Bon Marché – WWD


Celine is showcasing its beachwear capsule assortment with a pop-up at Paris division retailer Le Bon Marché, opening on Saturday.

Dubbed “Plein Soleil,” just like the 1960 French movie adaptation of “The Talented Mr. Ripley” starring Alain Delon, the gathering is impressed by the French Riviera, the place Celine inventive director Hedi Slimane set the film for his spring 2022 collection.

The non permanent set up on the bottom flooring, which can stay in place till June 5, resembles a seaside cabin. Lacquered white picket floorboards evoke boardwalks, whereas gold and amber tinted mirrors echo the nice and cozy mild of summer time. The wooden and leather-based furnishings are accented with straw deck chairs.

The face of the gathering is French actress and director Suzanne Lindon, who first appeared in a Celine marketing campaign in 2010 and just lately starred within the French model of “In Treatment” on Franco-German channel Arte.
