2 charged in connection to GSO fuel station capturing

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro police have launched extra details about the stories of shots fired at a Murphy USA gas station on Friday.

Investigators say they got here to the Murphy USA location on 2107 Pyramids Village Boulevard at 12:58 p.m. after getting stories of a firearm discharge.

An unnamed complainant instructed responding officers {that a} hit-and-run had allegedly occurred on the scene someday between 12:55 p.m. and 12:58 p.m.

As they have been investigating, officers say they discovered “sufficient probable cause” to cost Andrew Bounya, 27, with the next:

  • Felony possession of stolen items
  • Misdemeanor hit-and-run

Additionally, Edwin Rodriguez Mojica, 29, was taken into custody by the Guilford County Sheriff’s Workplace on Friday and is charged with the next:

  • Felony assault with a lethal weapon with intent to kill
  • Felony discharging a firearm into occupied property
  • Misdemeanor going armed to the fear of individuals

Mojica was taken to Greensboro Jail Central below a $250,00 bond. 

Mojica will seem in court docket on Monday.
